The federal government has released a new initiative which allows a trained assessor to give a free home green loan assessment. The assessor will fill out a report and send it off to Canberra, Canberra then proceses the information and sends back a report that will inform you on how to save money and make your home more energy effecient. The governement will give you $10,000 interest free for 4 years to spend it on new appliances, trees etc.
He is also offering to pay for $1600 worth of insulation for every house that is elligable.
